What Is DIY-Leather?
DIY-Leather was launched after completing our research. Sure, leather repair products have been around for quite some time now. None have really been tailored to you, the customer. The DIYer's, the handy men & women of the world.
DIY-Leather is a brand from The Leather Repair Company. The Leather Repair Company specialise are the UK's ONLY accredited leather trainer for the IMI awards (Institute of the Motor Industry). This means they/we can give you a nationwide recognised qualification in repairing leather.
Formed in 1996, the Leather Repair Company has gone from strength to strength. Started off by a chap named Richard who first took a liking to Leather Care & Repair at the young age of 14 across the pond in the USA. Based in the North East of England. Providing leather repair & restoration services in many sectors including; leather furniture, leather car interior, leather clothing, luggage & handbags and any other leather items you can think of.. (yes, and those types!).
Established over 30 years ago, we've built an unrivalled understanding of the business today. We constantly exceed our customers expectations on every level, reliably, delivering a broad range of leather care and repair services for automotive, clothing, footwear, aviation, boats and yacht interiors. From private owners and corporate clients to manufacturers around the globe. Delivering services and care products to almost every country in the world.
Our vision is simple really. We already provide training to gain qualifications that are recognised nationwide. The next logical step would be to get our product into every household across the UK. Ambitious I hear you say. Every household has some sort of leather. What people don't know, is, how easy it is to repair, restore and customise any leather items.
With our profile growing at an expected rate. Our training courses are always full. Franchises now spreading to Europe. We're confident we can inform people of how easy it is to repair leather.
